What is a jig?
The importance of jig are indispensable products in the mechanical engineering industry. Referring to jigs, JIG refers to the task of clamping, locating parts and products relative to the cutting tool and holding the workpiece in position under the effect of cutting force during machining. The jigs are designed and manufactured primarily for the respective applications of: machining jigs, assembly jigs and inspection jigs.

Jigs are production aids used to increase the reliability, accuracy and quality of the manufacturing process, while reducing production cycle times and improving worker safety. Essentially, the purpose of jigsaw machining is to provide an accurate, repeatable, and interchangeable manufacturing process, while reducing production time and human error.
